Abstract

Today, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is undoubtedly one of the most impactful innovations of recent times in education. The use of AI-assisted technology can be seen in English Language Teaching (ELT). These applications include personalized learning options, real-time feedback, and student engagement in ELT. In this paper, I will explore the role of AI in the field of English language teaching. I will examine the strengths, limitations, and significance of AI in this context. To do so, I will review some research works conducted in this domain. The discussion in this study will focus on how ChatGPT, intelligent tutoring systems, and assessment tools affect language learning.
