Depressiyadan chiqish usullari zamonaviy ilmiy yondashuvlar, jumladan, kognitiv xulq-atvor terapiyasi (CBT), ratsional-emotiv xulq-atvor terapiyasi (REBT) va boshqa psixologik usullarga asoslangan holda bayon etilgan. Undan tashqari, kundalik hayotda qo‘llanilishi mumkin bo‘lgan amaliy tavsiyalar, masalan, jismoniy faollik, to‘g‘ri ovqatlanish, ijtimoiy qo‘llab-quvvatlash, ijodiy faoliyat va mutaxassis yordamini olish usullari ko‘rsatib o‘tilgan.
