Abstract

This article explores the concept of the green economy, its underlying causes and necessity, key principles, areas of application, as well as the opportunities and challenges associated with the transition to a green economy in Uzbekistan. The formation of a new economic model based on sustainable development, environmental safety, and the rational use of resources is discussed.
