This article addresses the emergence of religious belief in individuals and its psychological foundations, as well as the research conducted and the concepts developed by Western scholars. It highlights the characteristics of religious faith, its subject matter, and approaches to understanding the psychological nature of religious faith as a phenomenon of the individual’s emotional sphere.
